Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will have the main responsibility to assist with an entire range of ISC administration functions.

Specifically, the role will entail the following tasks:

  •     Provide administrative support to ongoing scientific projects of the ISC, in terms of development and monitoring of project budgets, organization of meetings (including in-person, online and      hybrid meetings) of project experts, and dealing with related logistical arrangements;
  •     Assist in the daily tasks of keeping the ISC’s CRM (Client Relationship Management) database up to date;
  •     Assist with general administrative support to the ISC, including correspondence, note-taking, and coordination of both international and local events;
  •     Provide administrative and logistical support to the ISC’s Governing Board and its subcommittee and working groups, as well as the ISC Standing Committees, with specific regard to the         organization of their meetings and assistance in the production of minutes;
  •     Assist in the organization of other statutory meetings, namely, meetings of the ISC General Assembly.

The ISC is seeking candidates with the following:

Qualifications and knowledge

  •     Bachelor’s degree or higher and a keen interest in science;
  •     A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administration support position in an international environment;
  •     Demonstrated experience in support to administering projects and organizing events, including online events;
  •     Strong knowledge of and experience in working with MS Office applications (a test will be performed);
  •     Knowledge of and experience with running online meetings via applications like Zoom and MS Teams;
  •     Excellent knowledge of English and French.

Salary and benefits

The salary will be dependent on the experience and qualifications of the candidate. Benefits will be according to those foreseen by the French law. Applicants should hold a valid French work permit or be EU nationals.
