ISC Members and early and mid-career scientists are invited to join an online training session exploring how scientists can craft video content to promote and communicate their work on social media. 

This is the fourth of six social media training modules to be delivered over 2024-2025 designed for the International Science Council Regional Focal Point for Asia and the Pacific Members to build capability in science communication, improve digital storytelling and use of social media platforms.   • Video Strategy for Scientists: Planning video content that can effectively communicate research stories and findings;
  • DIY Video Production: Basics of producing high-quality videos on a budget, including equipment and software recommendations;
  • Live Streaming Scientific Events: Tips for live streaming research activities, Q&A sessions, and discussions;
  • Video Analytics: Measuring the impact and reach of video content;
  • Q&A with science communicators.
