The International Political Science Association (IPSA) is pleased to announce the renewal of its publishing partnership with Sage for the International Political Science Review (IPSR) and the addition of Governance Review to its journal portfolio.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during the IPSR–Sage Reception on 15 July 2025 at the IPSA World Congress of Political Science in Seoul. IPSA President Yuko Kasuya and Sage Senior Publishing Editor Aina M. Blanch formalized the agreement, which renews the publication of IPSA’s flagship journal, International Political Science Review, and adds IPSA’s new journal, Governance Review, to be launched in 2027.

The IPSR-Sage Reception

Now a tradition at the IPSA World Congress, IPSR and Sage once again hosted a cocktail reception at the 2025 edition in Seoul. The event provided an opportunity for delegates to meet IPSR Co-Editor Annika Hinze, who engaged with attendees and answered questions about the submission process, research topics, and other IPSR-related inquiries. The reception was attended by IPSA Executive Committee members, Sage representatives, and many World Congress delegates.
