IPSA at the 2026 ECPR General Conference in Kraków

As part of the growing collaboration between IPSA and the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR), IPSA will be present at the 2026 ECPR General Conference, a prestigious global event that will be held in Kraków, Poland, from 8-11 September 2026. ECPR’s General Conference promotes innovative thinking, facilitates in-depth discussion and nurtures the development of research across all sub-disciplines of political science.

IPSA Panel

IPSA Past President Marianne Kneuer will chair an IPSA roundtable titled How to Rebuild Democracies after Backsliding? at the 2026 ECPR General Conference in Kraków, Poland, on 10 September 2026.

The roundtable will feature Boglárka Koller (Professor, Ludovika University of Public Service (Hungary) and President of the Central European Political Science Association); Izolda Bokszczanin-Gołaś (Professor, University of Warsaw and Head of the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Political Science Association); Petra Guasti (Associate Professor of Democratic Theory, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague); and Tim Haughton (Professor, Department of Political Science and International Studies, University of Birmingham).
