Student politics has become one of the most discussed topics in current political scenarios across the subcontinent.  Political participation of young students has seen a drastic rise and also, a drastic resistance of, via government forces. With this in mind, IAPSS Asia, brings to you an event right from the horse’s mouth.

IAPSS Asia believes the time is ripe to initiate a conversation on the involvement of young people in politics in Asia. Through this roundtable we intend to pool in local voices from different nations in Asia to discuss their country’s political landscape viz a viz students.

Join us as we implore what challenges they face, what movements have worked towards ensuring better youth involvement in their countries and how the laws and government policies define youth participation at home.

We aim to try and understand possible emerging ideas that can potentially reshape the role of youth in politics in Asia. The objective of the discussion is to connect the students from Asian countries, to share their thoughts, learn and understand the present scenario for politics in Asia.
