The Graduate Student International Political Economy (GSIPE) team is pleased to announce its second virtual themed conference on 27 April 2021.

The purpose of the conference is to showcase completed research and work in progress by graduate students on the international political economy of trade, broadly defined. We invite submissions on any aspect of this topic by graduate students in economics, political science, or a related discipline. We particularly encourage submissions by graduate students who are on the job market, intend to go on the job market next year, or previously submitted papers to the GSIPE workshop that could not be accommodated in the regular workshop schedule.

To submit a paper to the conference, please submit a title and extended abstract (max. 600 words) through this online form by 26 March 2021: https://forms.gle/izBqZarrLHTtLYik8

Authors will be notified about acceptance decisions in early April and participants will be required to submit a full draft of their paper by 15 April. We will endeavor to accommodate presenters’ time zones when scheduling presentations. There is no participation fee and more details about the conference will be communicated in due course.

Should you have any questions about the conference, please contact Lorenzo Crippa (l.crippa@essex.ac.uk), Nina Obermeier (keo44@cornell.edu), and/or Baptiste Souillard (baptiste.souillard@ulb.be).

GSIPE is committed to promoting the work and voices of Black, Indigenous, POC, and women scholars. For more details about GSIPE, see here: https://campuspress.yale.edu/gsipe/.
