GIGAPP 2024 - XII International Conference on Government, Administration and Public Policy

The 12th International Conference on Government, Administration and Public Policy (GIGAPP2024) will be held in Madrid, Spain from 23-25 September 2024. 

GIGAPP is an open and free space for reflection and knowledge to promote governance and the strengthening of institutions in Ibero-America.

Thanks to this great community, we are back on track and moving steadily towards the future. This year, the theme will focus on global and local challenges in Ibero-American countries, facing the processes of democratic erosion, fragile governance facing the dilemmas and problems of global agendas.

We will seek to advance the research agenda (monitoring, mid-term evaluation) of the progress of initiatives, policies and models to bring to life the 2030 SDG agenda and its 17 sustainable development goals, with special emphasis on the subnational dimension and of how the agendas of administrative reforms to the SDGs have responded or not to such a claim in a post-pandemic context.

Continuing this important topic, our 2024 congress will open a space for special reflection on the emergence of generative AI and its visible and foreseeable impacts for government, public management and public policy.
