FPSA Annual Conference 2026

The annual flagship scientific event of the Finnish Political Science Association and Finnish political research, the FPSA Annual Conference, will be held at Tampere University on 6–8 May 2026. The theme of the conference is Turbulent Times in World Politics.
  
The organizing committee for the FPSA Annual Conference 2026 is happy to announce the call for workshops is now open, and will remain open until Tuesday, January 6, 2026. When proposing a workshop, you must provide the name of the group and a brief description (a maximum of 2000 characters) of the group’s theme. In addition, the name and contact details of the workshop convener must be provided on the form. There may be more than one convener for a workshop, in which case their contact details must also be included in the proposal. If the working group plans to meet only on Thursday or Friday, or on both days, this can be indicated in advance, along with the likely number of presentations known beforehand.

The organizing committee emphasizes that the workshop does not need to be directly related to the overall theme of the event. It is more important that the workshop can be organized with a sufficient number of participants. The Call for Papers will be published later on the Conference website.
