An academic endeavour focusing on holistic and multi-disciplinary education has become a trend setter in the development of National Education Policy-2020. The epicentre of inter-disciplinary research blended with this approach helps in the development of a holistic understanding of the diverse initiatives of development related to the Northeast region of India. This understanding narrates a contrasting introspection of the Government’s policy initiatives connected with all important initiatives emphasizing the Northeast region like ‘Viksit Bharat – 2047, Skill India, Make in India, Digital India, and many other relevant policy initiatives.
This book is an attempt to build a unicorn of inter-disciplinary research in normative studies as an endeavour to understand various frontiers and directions of transformation of the Northeast region of India. We invite papers from Academicians, Policy Makers, Research Scholars, and Development Practitioners who would like to deliberate upon these frontiers of introspection covering all major initiatives and critical constructions focusing the region. This call for chapters is for contribution in an ISBN edited book titled “Transforming Northeast: Mapping Policy, Progress, and the Path to Prosperity.” We are looking for contributions from Academia and Non-Academia who are interested to explore inter-disciplinary perspectives on North-east region under the following themes:
