Parties and elections remain central to political competition across Asia, including in systems where competition is uneven or tightly managed. This panel invites research on party organization, electoral systems, campaign practices, voter behavior, political finance, representation, and election administration. Papers may compare established and emerging parties, examine electoral integrity and disputes, or consider how parties adapt to social change, digital campaigning, and shifting forms of political participation.
