The Italian Political Science Association (SISP) Conference 2022 will be held at the Department of Political Sciences Sapienza Università di Roma, on 8-10 September 2022.

The panel proposals must be sent by April 10 to the section chairs exclusively through the MySISP reserved area.

To submit your proposal: 

1. Log in to MySISP

2. Click on Conference 2022 in the MySISP area

3. Click on PROPOSE A PANEL and complete the form with the following information:

  • the Section in which you want to propose the pane. To view the available sections click here;
  • the Title of the panel;
  • your full name, your institution, your e-mail address and of any co-chairs;
  • the text of no more than 2500 characters (including spaces) of the Call for Papers in English, and optionally in Italian, will be published on the SISP website if the proposal is accepted.

The system will send an e-mail to the chair and to the co-chairs to confirm the receipt of the panel proposal.

SISP 2022: Sections

The SISP Conference has 14 Sections:

10 ordinary Sections directly related to some of SISP Standing Groups;

4 ‘Jolly Sections’ selected by the SISP Steering Committee on the basis of a specific call.

This list may be modified by the Steering Committee on a biennial basis taking into account the consolidation of some emerging issues in the discipline.

The 4 Jolly Sections aim to involve even those Standing Groups that do not have their own reference Section, as well as the local organizing committee.

  • Section 14 - Parties and Party Systems. A Comparative Perspective (Jolly)
