

IPSA and the Central European Political Science Association (CEPSA)

We are pleased to announce that IPSA and the Central European Political Science Association (CEPSA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their academic cooperation. The agreement was signed by IPSA President Pablo Oñate and CEPSA Secretary-General Simona Kukovic on 14 July at the 2025 IPSA World Congress in Seoul, following a meeting with IPSA and CEPSA leadership. The meeting was attended by IPSA President Pablo Oñate, CEPSA President Boglarka Koller, CEPSA Vice-President Agnieszka Kasinska, CEPSA Executive Committee member Petr Just, CEPSA Past President Miro Haček, IPSA Executive Director Kim Fontaine-Skronski, and IPSA Senior Director - Membership, Research and Strategy Mathieu St-Laurent.

The MoU establishes an official bilateral agreement between the two associations, formalizing their collaboration across several areas. The agreement enables IPSA and CEPSA to organize academic panels at each other’s flagship events (the IPSA World Congress of Political Science and the CEPSA Annual Conference).
