International Webinar: Digital Inequalities

The “Digital Inequalities” webinar will be held on 6 and 8 December 2022 at Carlos III University of Madrid and virtually. The webinar boasts panels of international experts divided into key topics. Each panel will discuss papers, which will be distributed in advance to the participants. Participants will be connected through Carlos III’s online platform.

The following topics will be discussed: 

Some emergent and established forms of inequality. Potential themes include but are not limited to digital inequalities in relation to AI, algorithms, misinformation, digital labor, platform economy, cybersafety, cybercrime, gaming, big data, the digital public sphere, economic class, gender, sexuality, race and ethnicity, aging, disability, healthcare, education, rural residency, networks, public policy, etc.
