

Armenia as a Crossroad of Civilizations: Historical and Cultural Ties

The National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia will host an international conference titled 'Armenia as a Crossroad of Civilizations: Historical and Cultural Ties' from 28-30 March 2024.
The conference aims to discuss Armenia's relations with neighboring states and peoples, as well as the role of Armenian statehood in the region. Additionally, the conference will cover topics related to the history and culture of the states and peoples in the region.
Simultaneous translation is available for the working languages of the conference: Armenian, Russian, and English.
Duration of reports: up to 15 minutes.
Abstracts of the conference reports will be published prior to the conference. The reports will be published as a separate collection after undergoing double review and receiving a recommendation for publication.
Expenses of conference participants from abroad (travel, accommodation, meals) elected by the organizing committee, will be covered.
Applications for participation in the conference must be submitted no later than 30 January 2024, to the following e-mail address: conferencearm@gmail.com.
The applications will undergo an examination stage. Participants will be notified of the outcome of the review by February 15, 2024.
Thematic areas of the conference
Papers presented at the conference will be included in the following sections:
1. Contemporary history and culture of Armenia
2. Armenia and the countries of the region: historical and cultural ties
3. Current political and economic realities of the region
4. The role and significance of the Armenian cultural heritage in the region
The conference organizing committee reserves the right to reject reports not meeting the conference requirements.
