Wrocław Call for Proposals Open: 1 April - 13 May 2026

The Call for Proposals for IPSA’s Regional Conference on the theme Resilience of Democracy in a Polarized World: Populism, Autocratization, and Global Challenges, is open from 1 April to 13 May 2026.
The regional conference will take place from 14–16 October 2026 in Wrocław, Poland.
We welcome paper and panel proposals that examine democratic resilience, erosion, and transformation from theoretical, empirical, and comparative perspectives. Contributions addressing any region or time-period are welcome, including both single-case studies and cross-national analyses, within the following thematic areas (tracks).
- Threats and Erosions
- Information, Media, and Technology
- Citizenship, Participation, and Identity
- Institutional and Policy Innovations
- Global and Environmental Challenges
