

Local Organizing Committee Roundtable: Resisting Autocratization in Polarized Societies

The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the 2025 IPSA World Congress will host a roundtable discussion titled Resisting Autocratization in Polarized Societies: The Role of Academia on 13 July 2025. Chaired by LOC Co-Chair Euiyoung Kim, this roundtable will bring together distinguished leaders from higher education institutions and political science associations worldwide. Sponsored by Seoul National University, the discussion will explore how higher education institutions and political science can work together to educate students for informed, engaged, open-minded, and socially responsible citizens, committed to the common good, and participate in democratic life.
