John Ishiyama Addresses the Role of Political Science at UNAM

IPSA Executive Committee member and former APSA President John Ishiyama delivered a keynote address at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) on 30 October 2025. His lecture, titled “Whither Political Science in an Uncertain World? Challenges, Trends, and Opportunities,”  discussed the importance of political science education in addressing the challenges to democracy and how educators can better prepare students to navigate the revolutionary changes wrought by artificial intelligence on the information environment.
