IAPSS World Congress 2024

The IAPSS World Congress is the largest annual event hosted by IAPSS – the International Association for Political Science Students. As a flagship event with hundreds of students participating each year, it serves as a platform to present and discuss research with fellow students from the political science discipline. During the conference, the participants will be involved in a broad range of different activities: attending student-run panels, academic lectures, and study tours. The event will be held under the theme The Future of Governance in the Digital Era.

Call for Papers

To present a paper, submit an abstract of no more than 300 words through our online form. This form will include the name of the author(s), the title of the paper, keywords, home university, and email address(es).

The deadline for submission is January 31, 2024!

This Congress IAPSS is also featuring a Call for Panels. If you have a group of a minimum of three authors with papers under a similar theme, you may submit a panel proposal. We will accept panel proposals related to the sub-themes of our Congress.

Call for World Congress Coordinators

To assist the Executive Committee with the organization of the World Congress, IAPSS is looking to hire a team of Congress Coordinators for the following positions:

• Administration Coordinator (2 coordinators)
• Speakers Coordinator (2 coordinators)
• Promotion Coordinator (3 coordinators)
• Fundraiser Coordinator (2 coordinators)

Please note that you need to be registered for the World Congress by purchasing your ticket in the IAPSS Web Store. Registration for panelists may take place after abstract decisions are announced.

Prices for IAPSS Members:

A valid IAPSS membership is needed to be eligible for the prices below.

Early bird registration is open from February 1st, 2024, to February 29th, 2024.

Regular registration is open from March 1st, 2024, to April 1st, 2024.

Prices for participants without IAPSS Membership:

Early bird registration is open from February 1st, 2024, to February 29th, 2024.

Regular registration is open from March 1st, 2024, to April 1st, 2024.
