The 2025 Austrian Political Science Association Conference

The Annual Conference is a forum for discussion of current research. It brings together junior and senior political scientists from Austria and beyond. This year the theme of the conference is The Liberal World at the Crossroads. The conference includes contributions from all fields within political science, including Austrian politics, comparative politics, European Union politics, gender and politics, international relations, political methodology and political theory, utilising the full range of methodological approaches.

Conference Language: The primary language of the conference is English. Presentations, comments, and audience questions are expected in English.

A provisional programme is now available, assigning accepted papers to panels. Please note that time slots may still change and that scheduling conflicts may still be adjusted. The final programme will be circulated after registration closes.

Panel chairs and discussants will be assigned once the programme is finalised. If you do not wish to serve as a chair or discussant, please indicate this clearly during registration.
