This book is the result of a meeting held in Bolivia between a multidisciplinary team used to working on borders. In this sense, the first part of the book studies examples of cross-border cooperation and shows the resilience of borders in Mercosur cases. The second focuses on the state securitization of borders, an issue in which the resilience of borders can be accurately observed, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, this resilience can also be seen in the resistance and daily spatial practices that develop on a more local scale by the populations on both sides of the border, in particular by women, which is the object of the third part of this work. The fourth and final part offers a brief exploration of the most important case studies of the borders of Mercosur for the most traditional of the branches of border studies: the conflicts associated with the sovereignty of States.
