Postdoc Position in European Politics

The University of Mannheim invites applications for the position of a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Political Science (TV-L 13/14, 100%) on an interim teaching position starting in the fall/winter semester 2020/21.

The candidate is expected to teach four semester hours (equivalent to two courses) including at most one lecture in the area of Comparative Politics, European Politics, International Politics, Game Theory, or Methods.

Key responsibilities:

• Teaching four semester hours (equivalent to two courses), including at most one lecture in the area of Comparative Politics, European Politics, International Politics, Game Theory, or Methods.
• Engage in research and publication activity in the area of European Politics
• Contribute to organizational tasks at the Chair such as planning and implementing examinations
• The salary depends on the candidate’ qualification (TV-L 13 or 14).
• Courses taught in the bachelor and master program in Political Science at the University of Mannheim include lectures and seminars in the area of European Politics and Comparative Politics and are generally taught in English.
