Universidad Anahuac Puebla, through its School of Economics and Business, in collaboration with the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NAS), will hold the Second International Conference “International Geoeconomic Shift: New Frontiers of Money and Finance” on November 26 and 27, 2025, in a virtual format. This international academic gathering will bring together specialists, researchers, and analysts from various continents to reflect on the structural changes in the global financial and monetary system, as well as on the new geoeconomic dynamics that are redefining the international economic order.

The event arises in a context characterized by a profound transformation of the global financial system, influenced by phenomena such as dedollarization, trade tensions between major powers, the digital financial revolution, debt crises, and new regional monetary architectures. Both Universidad Anahuac Puebla and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine seek, through this academic forum, to promote an interdisciplinary, pluralistic, and strategic dialogue to understand the challenges and directions of the new geoeconomic environment.

The presence of specialists from Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Asia, Oceania, North America, and South America guarantees a comparative and interdisciplinary perspective on global geoeconomic changes. The official conference program confirms the participation of experts from four continents, thus reinforcing the global nature of the event.

The panels and presentations will address key themes for understanding the reconfiguration of the global financial and monetary system:

  • Dedollarization and new monetary architectures;
  • Digital finance, cryptocurrencies, and CBDCs;
  • Global economic leadership: the US, China, and the BRICS;
  • Geoeconomics of conflict, power, and security;
  • Fintech, digital transformation, and capital markets;
  • Public budgets, debt, and strategic finance;
