Current Trends in Political Science as a Discipline Worldwide

This panel aims to survey recent institutional and intellectual developments in political science as a discipline at global level. We also strongly encourage comparative analyses at regional / continental level or on other relevant criteria (e.g. linguistic communities, similarities of political regimes). Analyses on funding in political research, the development of professional associations in the field, as well as innovative case studies or case studies on lesser known areas / countries are also welcome. Selected contributions to the panel are invited to be further developed within one or more collective volumes within the recently relaunched RC33 book series.
