Gender Inequalities in Political Science

The roundtable "Gender Inequalities in Political Science" will discuss the findings of the recent IPSA survey and its accompanying report, which examine the status of the gender equality within the discipline. The survey conducted by IPSA between the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025 received 1200 responses, producing relevant information to understand how the global political science community perceives working conditions, experiences inappropriate behaviors, and encounters gender inequalities in the field. This roundtable aims to interpret these findings with experts on gender in politics and in political science, discussing strategies to foster a more inclusive and equitable discipline worldwide.
