The UK in a Changing Europe (UKICE) in association with EPOP are delighted to announce a call for papers for a PhD student and early career researcher event at the University of Manchester on Wednesday 11 September 2024. Proposals are welcome on any aspect of politics research. Work focussed on British or European politics and publics opinion, election in the UK, the EU and EU member states, and UK-EU relations, is particularly encouraged. Presentations on work in progress are also encouraged.

This event is an opportunity to present your work in a friendly and supportive environment, meet with other early career researchers and doctoral students and participate in mentoring and career development activities. Lunch and dinner are provided at the event.

Funding is available to cover transport and accommodation costs (£250 per attendee maximum).

This is a 'pre-EPOP' event, taking place just before the main conference. If you wish to participate in the main EPOP conference, which take immediately after this event, you can find details in the notice above.

If you would like to participate in this event, please send a short (max 250 words) paper abstract or panel proposal to rob.ford@manchester.ac.uk by 14 June 2024.
