The Opportunity
The School of Social Sciences is seeking to appoint a dynamic Lecturer to contribute to the Department of Politics and International Relations teaching and research program. The school is home to a strong cohort of experienced social scientists with extensive government and industry partnerships and international networks, a large community of local and international postgraduate students, and major research grants.

You will have an established reputation for research excellence in the field of Political Science, with preference given to expertise in one or more of the following areas: Political Psychology, Social Research, Australian and Comparative Politics, or Political Theory. You will be an excellent and inspiring teacher and will contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of the program's undergraduate Politics major, including in the area of Political Psychology, as well as the potential to contribute to the department's postgraduate coursework offerings. Supervision of postgraduate research in this program, as well as in Higher Degree Research Programs (MA and PhD), will also be expected.
