Synopsis

Call for papers: advanced undergraduate students, graduate students (master’s or doctoral), and postdoctoral scholars within 5 years of receiving the PhD are invited to submit paper abstracts for the Glendon Research Symposium on the European Union.

Papers on any aspect of the European Union, European integration, or EU-Canada relations will be discussed in panels facilitated by faculty commentators. The keynote will be given by His Excellency Peteris Ustubs, Ambassador of the European Union to Canada. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation, but there are no registration fees and lunch and refreshments will be provided.

The Research Symposium will start at 9am and finish by 4pm. The deadline for abstracts is October 20.

This event is organized by the Jean Monnet Chair at York University, which receives funding from the European Union.
