The School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Melbourne invites applications for a continuing faculty position as a Lecturer in Public Policy at an exciting time in the program's development and expansion. Applications close on Thursday, 9 February (11:55 PM Australian Eastern Daylight Time).

This appointment in Public Policy is one of four continuing positions that are currently being advertised by the Political Science Discipline at Melbourne. We welcome applicants researching and teaching in all areas of Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Management and/or Public Governance. Applicants who can demonstrate that they can build on Melbourne’s existing strengths in these areas are particularly encouraged to apply. Lecturer is equivalent to the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure track) in North America.
 
The four positions currently open for applications are:

1) Senior Lecturer in Public Policy;
2) Lecturer in Public Policy;
3) Lecturer in Political Science (Research Methods) – open specialisation in any subfield of Political Science, International Relations or Public Policy;
4) Lecturer in Political Science (Comparative Politics);
