Interim Professor in Political Science, Empirical Democracy Research (W2)

The position is temporary from 01 August 2019 until 31 January 2020.

The University of Mannheim is looking for an excellent scholar in the field of comparative politics/international relations. The appointment requirements are determined by ? 47 LHG of the State of
Baden-Württemberg. A candidate must have a university doctoral degree, commitment to excellence in teaching and research, documented by international publications in scholarly journals. The candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses.

The University of Mannheim offers an excellent international research environment, with the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (GESS), the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES), and the Collaborative Research Centre SFB 884 on Political Economy of Reforms at its centre.

The University of Mannheim expects the ability to teach in English.
