Background

Recognised as research committee in 1976; also recognised as a research committee of the International Sociological Association and related group of the American Political Science Association; originally known as committee on conceptual and terminological analysis (COCTA).

Objectives

C&M understands itself as an open and plural platform of discussion on basic conceptual and methodological problems in political science. It strives to promote methodological discussion that takes seriously both concept analysis and qualitative methods.
